Freedom is a gift, however it comes with a responsibility.

A recently poll conducted found that 49% of people of faith do not plan to vote in this election.  That alone is enough to turn the tide of public policy for future generations!

While we fully recognize that Jesus is the only One Who saves, we, as Christians are called to be the salt and light (Matthew 5:13) in every area of our lives. "Let us not become weary in doing good" (Galatians 6:9) and fall into the trap of not voting because none of the candidates align completely.

Freedom is a gift and the right to vote is a tremendous privilege paid for by the blood and sacrifice of generations of brave men and women who've served in our armed forces.

May us invite God into our midst, honor the responsibility, the blood and sacrifices and get out to vote on November 5th. Let's pray to get the right people, the right positions of authority to lead our country.  For God promises “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and heal their land” 2 Chronicles 7:14

You are a gift from God in the lives of so many people who have been blessed to know you. Thank you for being your authentic self. I’m asking God to delight your heart in the way you have done for so many and “may your love abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ to the praise and Glory of God” Philippians 1:9-11

Amen!
