Wisdom says don't dwell on the past, don't worry about the future and that the key to a happy life is to focus on "The Now" Abraham Lincoln said, “do your best and take a rest”. Rest. It's a weapon, a delicious fruit that a grateful life produces.
Our experience the past four months could have been confusing, considered a little chaotic, and had the makings for conflict. We choose to “sea” it all as a gift, a gift that brought us closer, taught us so much and developed in us greater character, clarity and patience. Thank you God for the broken path, again!

As I type this blog, we are preparing to leave the Port Canaveral Yacht Club. The tiki bar by the way has really good food and beverages. I find myself dwelling in the reflections of where we were a year ago, reflecting on the gift of “The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry", an Endeavor University Course I taught at The Lakeway Church based on the book by John Mark Comer while living in our RV. Reliving all of the things God has done to get us to this moment.
PLEASE NOTE: This is an unofficial and independent summary & analysis of The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry. You can find the original book here: https://amzn.to/34y3EXC
Video Short of Sea Way below getting splashed back into the water at Scorpion Marine in Cape Canaveral. Big shout out to the Ship Store, to Archie the Goldenoodle who helped run the office with Cheryl and Eric, George who detailed her (Sea Way) bottom, to Sean from Coral Reef who replaced her rudders//overhauled one of the Yanmar Diesel engines and all of our neighbors while on the hard! I know I missed someone and cannot express enough our gratitude!
Now, both of us are fully retired, praise God Scott is rehabilitated from his heart hangups. I choose not to call them issues because he is fully recovered and our only thing to do is live our dream of moving at an island pace, with the beauty of silence, solitude, and simplicity surrounding us. We call it the “Sea Way”. A way to live where we surrender our days to the creator of the wind, the waves and let God guide us while we resist the temptation to strive and schedule. Abba Father, the helm is all yours!
Let us Pray
Dear Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, God of Hope and Rest, your word promises we can come to you when we are weary and burdened. Lord, in this world of constant distractions and disappointments we come to you. We want to learn from you. Show us your gentleness, your heart and help us find rest. Show us the path you have chosen for us and for each heart present and at your feet humbled by your majesty. We are so grateful and wish so eagerly to hear from you. In your name we pray. Amen!
God has you in the right place at the right time. Have peace and trust in HIS timing, the answers will come, prayers will be answered. Trust, wait, let go of hurry and may peace be with you, always.
Starfish wishes and mermaid kisses covered in love!
Scott, April, Cookie and Brownie~
